Review on Tram Browning 1214 Antenna Diameter by Sam Hawj

This is a good solid spring that fits perfectly into the threads on the base of my broadband antenna. The antenna I use it on is a Tram Browning VHF broadband antenna and after a few days in the bush I found it a bit "fragile" and the top sleeve came loose and started to perform poorly. I solved the connection problem with several layers of heat shrink tubing, but the brittleness problem still wasn't solved, so I ordered this spring to give it some flexibility. As expected the antenna pin was too big for the top spring hole and the truth is they never said it was for this antenna but a quick drill bit got the hole the right size and one day I went into the bushes. again. The game has changed a bit, but I haven't fixed it yet. I will buy again in spring.
