bloat software. Do not hold back.

I have to say I'm pretty put off when Windows tries to install bloated third-party software that I didn't ask for (even the feature has been disabled). Windows really sucks. But I also blame the Razor because other keyboards don't slow down startup and get in the way indefinitely. Other keyboards are just keyboards. :/This is a keyboard. In no way do I run any software, register accounts or require the internet just to set it up. The feature set seems insanely bloated. The shade? What? They don't seem to show all the keyboard shortcuts in the manual. Fn+Ctrl+Number? Is there actually a manual for the keyboard, not software? Can't you even adjust the brightness of an LED without software? Their manual says you don't need to register an account. However, there's really nothing you can do without first installing their software that I can't review first. :/ I don't support that design philosophy, nor can I support a company that doesn't understand data and privacy these days. Make tools, don't be tools. Their software was also part of a recent exploit that allowed a local person to fully hack into a Windows computer using a mouse. However, you can switch profiles after setup. So the built-in memory works. However, I could not test this. I wish I knew all this before wasting time on this keyboard. Strangely, Windows took a long time to start up when I first plugged this thing in. Again it's a bit scary :/ "What's he doing" what's up? Like 5 minutes wtaf? Keyboard? He will be returned. I liked it? As if. I'm not just gaming and these switches are very light and very noisy when they hit the bottom. Very loud. While the need for synapses wasn't an issue, I'm not sure it's ideal for me. Although if there were no synapse requirements I would probably leave them anyway. The best thing about this keyboard is that it actually has a strain relief. Few other USB keyboards seem to do this, which is why I partially tried these. After a day of typing I got used to it and can't say I hate it. I might try Openrazor before I give up on this altogether. However, a new cherry blossom keyboard will arrive in a few days, with software and firmware that I can understand. If I were a razor I would get rid of your tools and support the open source community. This allows tools/exploits to be viewed and allows users to choose what they want to do with their hardware. Otherwise it's too rough. But maybe most people don't feel that way. However, this is how Razor should feel to you. They should know better. Focus on creating awesome keyboards.
