I like the look of this collar. I love martingale collars for my dogs. Although they are trained in obedience, I find it better to have a collar that tightens so they can't get out. I have two petes and a bulloxer so you should be in the loop. If someone shows aggression, a regular collar can be immediately removed, and then there will be trouble. I used to use regular chain necklaces but now I've started using this type of choker and it works just as well. The one I got, my smaller pit (it's 50 pounds) was too small. Her neck is 19 inches and the collar was on the last hole. It fit well but she is a lifesaver and needs to gain weight so I knew it wouldn't fit her later so I returned it and got the 18th size -22" which is one size bigger. I'll assume Assuming it fits well. A size 20-24" is probably too big. The buckle seems solid, the collar and chain too. The gray looks good on my pit because it's blue. Very happy!
