Review on Blue/White MidWest Homes for Pets Reversible Paw Print Dog Bed in Various Sizes by Kimmi Willett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I stole it from a dog.

Bought two of these when they were on sale. One was big enough to sit in a leather love seat, which my mini-doxy was slowly destroying. Another, larger one should be on the floor for my GSD chow mix. Both dogs wrinkled their noses at them. So I slept with the baby for a few nights to make it smell more familiar. When I put him back in the 2 seat everything was fine with the doxy and the big dog now sometimes competing for the 2 seat. Then planning to jazz it up and more, I folded it in half and fitted it into the back and seat of the chair I use to work on my computer all day. Well, from day one I found myself leaning back in my chair and taking a great nap at my desk. I think that's because the damn thing was so comfortable that it took away my hip and lower back pain from sitting in front of the computer for too long. Then I started taking it to bed - no, I'm not kidding - and I started sleeping on it. And to my surprise, I got eight hours of sleep a night, instead of the five to six hours that had been the norm since I was 60. Thinking about finally giving this to a large dog after ordering another one in the largest one size for me. I think it will be great for sleeping in my SUV when I'm on long trips and just need a nap. I can think of other uses for it, but we'll see how it holds up. I've only had it for about a month. As the only user in these reviews (so far) who can actually tell you how they feel, the fuzzy size is soft and warm (but doesn't give off heat) and has a soft feel. but firm, more or less like "feather duvets", now made with fluffy polyester stuffing instead of feathers. They don't smell bad, they're easy to tell from clean (if they've been splattered with coffee), and they don't seem to flatten under my human body. Oh, and my back and hips seem to be getting better, probably because the padding is helping me sleep without making the problem worse. The conspiracy theorist in me just has a hunch that there's some unscented drug in there that's making me so sleepy (joke) because I haven't slept that well in a long time. I'm pretty sure my dogs would recommend them too.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
