Velcro is really nice and strong but it means any exposed item can get caught on other objects. Very strong (more than I need) and holds the wrist in place perfectly. I think it's good for bowlers. Doesn't rub membrane between thumb and forefinger :) I have a newborn and my wrist hurts from the way I'm holding it. Because she was so strong, I couldn't move properly with her.
