Review on Tiding Convertible Backpack Messenger Briefcase by Julie Serrano

I bought this bag as a gift for my boss. He's a lawyer but loves backpacks so I decided to buy him the best of both worlds. This bag is excellent. The seams are tight and strong. The zippers are smooth and even. I love how soft the leather is and how comfortable it is to wear. It was also the perfect size. My only criticism is the position of the zipper on the front pockets. Since this bag is intended to function as both a briefcase and a backpack, I expected the large front pocket to be accessible in either orientation. Unfortunately, their zipper only goes through one side of the bag - the top in backpack mode. This means it's on the right side in briefcase mode. I've found getting into the front pocket of a briefcase is a real problem. This design flaw could easily be remedied if the zipper covered the left side of the bag in backpack mode. So in briefcase mode, it's on the top and right, and you can access the contents of that pocket without spilling anything. My other criticism of the bag is the zipper in the top right (in backpack mode) pocket. When the bag is closed, the zip puller is lost between the two small front pockets. Personally, I would flip the zipper so the pull tab is out when the bag is closed. This makes it easier to open. All in all, these two annoyances aside, this is a great bag and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone on the market.
