This potato processing machine is a beast. It's huge - you can stuff a whole potato in it! He draws pretty well, doesn't leave many potatoes he "misses". It leaves something behind, but I thought it was reasonable. I've also used it to mash other things like lemons and I've mashed them pretty hard. It will flex a bit if you press hard enough, I mean really hard. Not sure if a regular size lady can bend it. It has some edges, I wouldn't call them sharp but maybe nasty if you press hard. Chopping regular soft potatoes shouldn't be a problem. I am satisfied with the product.
