I was a bit skeptical at first so I sprayed it on my hot tub cover. As it lasted it was wet and not very penetrating as I thought. I used my bare hand to spread it until it covered everything. I waited for a while, thinking it would dry up, but it seemed darker in places like it was still wet. I really thought it would stay that way and not work across the board. The next day everything was dry and looked like nothing had been applied. I was happy to see that the discoloration was only temporary. The only question was whether it would actually work. A few days later it started raining heavily and the canvas just watered down like it was made of plastic. After the rain stopped, I looked at the canvas, there was water on the flat land, but the canvas looked dry like it hadn't rained. I shook off the water and everything looked dry with no wet spots. I used it on my convertible's fabric top, so I actually bought it. This worked great and should really extend the life of the top. I highly recommend this product.
