I love this colour. It's not even the exact same color as the picture; it is a real turquoise gemstone shade (looks greener in the photo). It smudges easily, but I can polish it. The only issue I had was that when attaching the top and bottom of the case I was afraid of scratching my laptop because it couldn't snap into place quickly. (Mostly user error; I struggled to figure out which end goes to which page). But when everything clicked everything looked great and seemed great to protect me from the value of the item. I'm not very computer savvy so I'm not a very good longevity witness. However, this is unlikely to increase the volume of the laptop. smooth it out Keyboard. My only concern is that the highlighted buttons below don't exactly match some words/characters on the panel. But that's not really that important to me. It's more important to keep crap off the keyboard - and it's nice to be a different color than the black I've had on another MacBook in the last 8 years. ^_^ I'm curious. I love this product.
