simply because I already know that I love her. But since my

Having four Lexar CF cards already, I haven't bothered to read reviews of the ones sold at Revain simply because I already know I have she love. But since mine is four years old, I felt the need to upgrade to prepare for the possible failure of older cards. Imagine my surprise when I put a new card in my Canon 5D Mark III, filmed the ENTIRE session and found an error on the card, with the camera displaying a "cannot play image" message. Also, while I'm in a card reader on my desktop, the card fails to open the image with the message "This is an unsupported file." This is a CR2 file and is not only supported by my desktop but also by my photo software (Lightroom). If you are considering buying a Lexar card, please do so at a reputable photo store as they appear to be random (I've read recent reviews in my experience). I will definitely be returning both cards I purchased and ordering from a company other than Revain (which is not responsible for a bad batch, but I have no interest in receiving another damaged or defective card). Since Lexar comes with a photo recovery feature, I'm attempting to recover images that are currently unreadable, but the cards are returned after this attempt. Please note that I am not an amateur photographer and yes I formatted the card IN THE CAMERA before attempting to use it. I will continue to buy the Lexar brand, but not through Revain. So add me to all those one star users who got a bad card and need to return it. I hope I can recover the lost pictures. Taunting Lexar for releasing a bad batch of faulty and defective cards.
