Sometimes in my consulting business I need to weigh items in the 1-10mg range. I have tried less expensive scales that claim an accuracy of 1mg but I have found that they are not stable and cannot be accurate more than +/- 5mg. I bought this lab scale based on customer reviews and found it lived up to the praise. Once the scale reached the temperature in my lab there was no drift (very stable), the 50g calibration weight from other scales read consistently to within 0.001g and you can't beat the price.
