First of all I like the design and the functionality of this lamp. It's a little smaller than I expected but meets my needs for a small bedside lamp with a charger and touch on/off functionality. It arrived in good condition and was easy to assemble. Because of all these positive things I would give it 5 stars but after only 5 months of use it stopped working properly. When I touch the bulb to turn it on, the brightness is barely visible until I give the bulb itself and the part of the bulb it screws into a few shakes (or smack, shake, a combination of all of that) and then it turns on. work with the right brightness again as if by magic. Sometimes the light starts flickering and then either stays on or dims again and I have to wiggle it again. I've tried troubleshooting by removing and replacing the bulb, but it looks like there is something inside the lamp with wiring. So disappointed I love the lamp but now have to buy something else and feel my money was wasted on a poor quality item.
