Good basic radio for short wave radios
Bought this radio for use in the event of a power outage as it runs on D type batteries. Too many USB devices are already disconnecting from my laptop and PC. The sound quality is average and you have to be careful when turning the tuning knob. It's old-fashioned, so sometimes you can get better reception on some stations by touching or rotating the antenna. Note that the dial has "second" next to "hour" for minutes. The image on the box is the same sequential Type-O.
