I used to rate this backpack 3 stars but after a hike I decided to change it to 5 as my main problems So didn't pass as much of a problem as I thought they would. I did most of my Half Dome hike with this backpack and it was great. The backpack fits me perfectly with a maximum adjusted torso length of 21.5 inches, even though my torso is 19 inches tall (I'm 6ft 0" and 185lbs). Pros: - Very durable material - Simple and trendy design - Comfortable and (somewhat) nice adjustments - see below - Appears to be waterproof, or at least waterproof without a rain cover - Well-hidden opening for hydration tube and cute pocket (see photos). below) Cons: - My torso is 19" and claims to carry up to 22", but the waist belt doesn't reach all the way to my hips AND it can only be adjusted up to 21.5". In the end it wasn't a big problem, because when the backpack is packed and has some weight, the hip belt reaches my hips at its maximum length. ** This may be an issue for those whose torso is greater than 19 inches. Remember that the hip belts should wrap around your hips, not your abdomen. Didn't find a use for a side zip for the main pocket and ended up just zipping the zips together (not that big of a deal), the hydration bladder can get crushed by your gear if you pack it all the way (maybe just an issue with hydration chambers in general just an observation). slot for it.
