Too bad Apple doesn't sell the caps individually because there is nothing better than the original magnetic cap. You would make more money selling individual caps than selling pens! But if the cap is lost, it disappears and an adequate replacement is necessary. I like them as they use rubber (friction) to stay in the end. the same width as the pencil, which is great. My iPad case has a pen holder and it even fits with this replacement cap. An advantage over the Apple cap is that they have a pen tip so I can use the pencil as a pen. I highly recommend this product.
