Very soft and comfortable to wear. The head does not hurt when worn all the time because the headphones are strongly pressed to the head. I almost gave them a star because I couldn't get them to work with Netflix on my Smart TV until I realized you had to do separate settings. Go to Settings and Sound on your smart TV, then change the output from Dolby (or Digital) to PCM. Then go to Netflix and watch whatever you want. During playback, go to Settings > Sound again and you'll see that it defaults back to Dolby (or Digital), so change it back to PCM again. Now my headphones work with regular (antenna) TV, DirecTV and Netflix. Love it.
