Disappointed with this purchase - read below
Well THAT'S UPDATE. I was looking for large glass storage containers as I had previously ordered several others and they were too small for our needs. First I gave this 5 stars because it seemed big and sturdy. Tonight I used one (of 2) - and the top/cap didn't fit?! What the hell? I usually like those heavy glass jars with lids that have a seal that snaps tight on all four sides. At first I thought the lids were defective or the wrong reservoir. * But on closer inspection I found a problem. * The problem wasn't in the lid, it was in the jar! Both lids are perfect for a storage jar, BUT neither will fit a second glass storage jar! Thus, a glass storage container has a defect in that the edge or rim of the device is not standardized or differs in thickness or length, which does not allow the installation of the top/lid. Pretty weird. Anyway, I paid for two, but only one of the two works as intended. Bad quality control. So I can't recommend them at this time.
