Honest Amish Beard Balm has an amazing consistency, is easy to apply, after scraping it off with your fingernail it starts to melt immediately, no effort is required Apply it to your beard. It gives you an amazing shine and believe me, a little goes a long way. As for the scent, it's not so bad that people say it smells like aniseed (black liquorice or black jelly beans), but to me it smells more like cloves or, strange as it may sound, a bag of balloons , lol. It's bearable and you get used to it very quickly. However, I gave the beard balm three stars because unfortunately it caused my beard to fall out after four uses. I stopped using it and my beard stopped falling out, when I started using it started falling out again. Guess my skin and beard just weren't big fans, well. But the rest is pretty decent.
