Thick (just under 3/8 inch) acrylic product with gentle curves on the edges and cut outs for handles and "legs" making it super durable and extremely stylish . I have it to keep my cat away from my laptop while I work and it totally helps. I could also use it as a display or shelf, top and bottom. I'm really surprised at the quality of the product and I don't think the photos really do it justice. I have a large size to accommodate my laptop's width and the 4 inch height allows me to type comfortably under a shelf. I might get the middle one for other uses as it's such a good thing!
