There's no clasp or locking mechanism, so you're basically pulling apart rings that honestly feel like cheap jewelry connecting rings you might find at an art supply store (!) would buy. and then you need to pinch the ends with your fingers to close it after inserting it into the piercing. I think I should have expected it from the photos, but I was still a bit disappointed, it definitely wasn't that easy to get inside. Well I think you get what you pay for. They have really nice colors and the variety of sizes is nice. Removal is fairly easy if you can get a good grip on the ends of the ring. My nose is a bit irritated from what I'm wearing now, but that might just be because I have sensitive skin. I think if you want top notch stuff you should probably just go to your local piercer! The rest is mostly good.
