The computer is fine. In general, during the "restoration" I switched on blowing out clumps of dust from the case. The CPU heatsink was partially clogged and the PSU blew out clouds of dust when I blew into it. Obviously the computer has not been significantly updated. But it worked fine, so here's the thing. My biggest disappointment was the new SSD. It was actually a non-brand drive; Manufacturer information was not available. Searching for the part number didn't turn up anything. All I can say is "Made in China". I can't decide whether I should trust him with my data or not. The 1TB drive was Toshiba's corporate drive. Such drives are built like tanks and designed to work 24/7 in data centers. Everything is fine except that used drives of this type are usually used 24/7 in data centers. The date on the disc was 2011 so life expectancy is not something I want to bet on. But who knows? I haven't checked the SMART data to see actual usage. If I do it later I'll edit this post. My point is that you shouldn't expect discs from this restorer to be a significant part of the car's value. The device came with a genuine copy of Windows 10 for Refurbished PCs installed on an SSD. All in all, it's not a bad car, but the mechanic needs to do more than put in a couple of windows before certifying the car as 'Reconditioned'. At least remove the dust from the processor heatsink. shish. Also, I ordered the car on June 20th and it arrived on July 10th - 3 weeks! Apparently this is the fault of the carrier, not the seller.
