I bought these headphones to use on my desk. The noise cancellation actually works surprisingly well. In my office, people are always talking and there was a very noticeable difference with and without noise canceling on. They're not as noise-cancelling as in-ear headphones, but for headphones, they work pretty well. The sound is also very good, with noise reduction turned on it got better. The pause/play button works as expected with my iPhone XS. The cable is quite thick, which is sure to extend the lifespan of the headphones. I really wish it was actually a little longer. Given how heavy they are, they seem to be more easily accidentally pulled out of my ears than my regular earbuds because the control section is larger than regular earbuds. There are various interchangeable earbuds in the box. The ones I'm currently using may not be the most ideal for me, but the next size up are the foam/wax feel ear tips (grey). I'm glad they included this option, but this species always seems to me to be soiled with earwax, so I'll stick with slightly smaller ones for now. I would think it would be nice if the set came with headphones that have a curved rubber insert that stabilizes them in the ears. This would definitely help reduce the weight of the control box. I used them throughout my workday and the battery life wasn't an issue. I toggle noise cancellation on and off throughout the day depending on how likely someone is trying to get my attention. On an 8-hour workday, I didn't even think about the battery life. I didn't measure how long the noise-cancellation was on, but I'm sure it's probably close to that 10-hour threshold. Overall, this is a really good option for noise-cancelling headphones. It may be worth swapping out the earbuds for more comfortable options from a different set of headphones.
