Although the jacket is well made it fits quite snugly around the shoulders of my 4 1/2 lb. Teacup Chihuahua. I managed to get her front paws in the hand holes but my little fluffy baby just stands there with her head down. She won't walk. I ordered XXSmall after carefully reviewing and checking the measurements and sizing recommendations. the manufacturer recommends XXSMALL for the Chihuahua. This jacket will never fit a standard size Chihuahua. It arrived quickly, 9 days after my order date. The jacket is thick because it is lined with sheep plush. Nice but it makes the jacket stiff for a small dog like mine. I recommend this jacket for 10 lb dogs. and more if they can get a suitable size. Maybe a bigger dog than mine can handle the stiffness of a thick jacket.
