Let's face it, these are not branded quality connectors. However, for average use they are acceptable. If you want to maximize the cable ratings I would go for a high quality branded connector like Molex, Arndt etc. I prefer fully insulated quick connectors when installing trailer lights and position lights as you never know how long they will last Headlights and I have had several failures of LED lights over the years. Using quick connectors saves time in the future and is much better than butt connectors. Butt connectors are designed for chopping. I used to work as a field engineer in the heating/automotive industry and my main job was testing and debugging large automated systems. Butt connectors were banned in my line of work due to disconnection issues, quick connectors or screwed ring terminals were the only solution. Still, I'm happy with my purchase and have installed over a dozen so far.
