So I did NOT get them as a promotion (seems like everyone else) Now they look great after being opened, unwrapped, emptied and placed for over an hour. It definitely deducted at least a star and a half. I highly recommend hanging them BEFORE unrolling individual strands. My second issue is that the control box is an awkward distance from the end of the lightbar and is now hanging very conspicuously. The power cord is also very short and hanging around the room may require an extension cord (I had one). The third problem I have is ridiculous light settings. Now I understand that the strobe effect can be amazing for an outdoor party or event. In my bar? Not as much. The problem is that you have to keep pressing the same button to finally get a constant light. And from what I've found, they don't stay in a set order, so you'll just have to keep clicking and waiting to see which ones you get. I find the lights do the job and are nice, but they're not the most user-friendly lights I've ever used. They were cheap enough to keep, but if I had known all of this before buying I probably would have gone ahead.
