Its rusty patina will make a striking addition to your outdoor plantscape

Fantastic, sturdy, heavy product. Put it where you need it to stay, and plant to suit its location, because you won’t want to move it. It drains well, but a loose, well-draining soil would be best, given how deep and narrow it is. It ends up looking like a fine piece of art with its beautiful rust patina. My wife and I made ours into a succulent planter, but it would look great with plants of any height that do well in planters.
