Quick and easy, like a temporary bed.

My sister was hospitalized giving birth to her baby so the baby stayed with her grandparents until Mom got home. I bought it for my son-in-law so that some days he can have a baby when he comes back from the hospital and she can sleep somewhere since her other beds are not in his house. The cradle was light. fit and are large enough for the baby, as well as other items you want to keep close to the baby, such as extra blankets and newborn clothes. The waterproof cover looks cold and not so comfortable for the child, so we put another cover on it for the cradle. I think the only thing is that while it's intended for travel and is a travel cot, it's not a tote bag in the sense that you would only take it to move around the house with you. For this I recommend a Moses basket tote with handles (BEST purchase ever). It's great for travel/between houses, easy to set up, fairly light and not bulky. Good in a pinch. My sister definitely didn't plan on cluttering her house with baby stuff, but she never came home from the hospital, so I'm afraid her house will eventually be filled with baby stuff.
