I like the form factor and size of this reader. It's great not having any cords as nothing can scratch or damage my iPad. Unfortunately, contrary to what another reviewer has mentioned, this reader is very slow and can get very hot. On my Sandisk Extreme Pro (64GB) card, which supports read speeds up to 95MB/s, this reader only gets 44MB/s. I've tried three other SD card readers and this is the only one reading this slowly. Being a USB-C reader, this speed is just not acceptable. Perhaps due to its size, the reader also gets quite hot. It's not dangerously hot, but it can be uncomfortable if your device overheats and you need to import a few hundred more photos. . However, if you need a more serious tool where performance is important, I would look elsewhere.
