When I tried to remove the protective film from the double-sided tape that is supposed to hold the light, the double-sided tape immediately peeled off?! I've tried many other DS tapes (all 3M) and nothing stuck to the background. I ended up having to glue them to the car with silicone! At the moment they are still drying, I don't know if it worked at all. In terms of dual use, both the parking light and the t/s light, if you use the t/s with the parking light on, they're pretty lame. The turn signal alone is bright and clear. So if you only buy it for t/s component. Don't buy it for the perceived dual purpose. As the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for". In this case they were cheap and they are cheap! Look for something at a higher price and get something that's a lot easier to install! So after only a few weeks in the car I hand washed it. Pieces of rubber tips started breaking off?! These things are absolute garbage! My last set was 100% better in every way! Too bad I couldn't find them to redeem! DON'T FORGET YOUR TIME, BUY SOMETHING ELSE!
