I have thick WAVE hair. I blow dry my hair, and while it looks nice and straight when it dries instantly, every product I've used gives a return. This is the only product I've tried that tells my hair what to do. I used Gummy Gel, Layrite's Cement Clay, Suavecito. Great products but I've never tamed my hair like Cavalier. The fact that it's clay and not lipstick might not be the best comparison. Application? Roughly if this is your first time using clay like I did. Make sure you rub it into your hands until your hands are hot and you don't have a problem. Honestly, a little goes a long way. Stop? BIG! It lasts all day and you can repeat it when annoying hair decides to go overboard. Looks? My hair looks matt and natural, I apply and style it without a comb and personally don't see the need for it. Cavalier is without a doubt the best hair product I have ever used!
