I was hesitant to pick up one of these neck massagers after reading reviews of devices failing early or attacking users too much. There are no such comments in the reviews of this model. The first time I used this Snailax I unknowingly went to the default setting at full power and it pissed me off a little. After reading the instructions I found that I had three settings to choose from and the softest one worked much better. The heat setting is negligible and this is not a heating pad. I feel a little. If I start on the "soft" setting, I can usually increase it before my 15 minutes are up. My problem is an old neck injury and this device has helped me a lot. It's too early to tell how it's holding up, but this company makes other types of massagers and they continue to get good reviews.
