This top is very cute and the material is light enough to hang well without being see-through. That's enough to stay on the floor during exercises and not restrict at all. I wear a size 12 top and ordered a large, really could fit a medium but I like to wear it on my "fat days"! I would say the big one is probably the real 14 or the average 14-16. Hope this helps with the size. Washes well but I wouldn't dry it.
