I ordered this to quickly add a shelf to my closet. I found it very difficult to push the shelf apart to get the correct tension to keep the shelf upright. It fell once so I reduced the weight that was on it. Didn't feel like I had that much, but apparently too much to stay put. I suppose if you don't have a lot of things to put on the shelf this would be a good idea, but if you want to fill the shelf with items. doesn't hold up like I want. I had things like paper plates, napkins and a few extra kitchen towels so not really heavy but still had issues.
