Review on FORID Small Trash Bags - 150 Count 2.6 Gallon Compostable Garbage Bags, Sturdy Can Liners For Kitchen & Office Waste Disposal, Unscented And Environmentally Friendly by Tabitha Williams

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Solid bags; closing a problem

I have now used about 6 of these for wet kitchen trash. No leaks, no breaks, despite a few loads with some sharp bones. The only reason I give these a 4 is the closure problem. With no draw string, or handles (as on the "single use" bags we used to get in the store, but which are now illegal in NY) the only way to securely close the bag is to squoosh the trash down as far as possible, twirl and tie a half hitch. Thus, a 2.5 quart bag becomes 1.5 quart. These bags are far, far cheaper than anything I saw in the grocery store, plus I love that they're biodegradable. I will certainly buy again, but I'll go to the 4 quart size.I would hope the manufacturer will consider draw strings or handles. If handles, of course they could market these to stores in New York State and we could cease having to pack our own groceries in our own bags.
