Most Happy With My

The first thing I would like to change about this gun is give it a choice of fire between bounce and single shot. Additionally, the depth setting slides to the deepest setting when firing a bounce. That's why it doesn't get five stars. With the No March turret (it came with two) and set to the deepest setting, it cuts well into the plywood and overcomes the depth shift. Depth can be quickly adjusted to secure wood when attaching parts or temporarily belaying. The nose has sharp prongs that make it easier to bite your nails. I was able to nail 2 edge joists on either side without the nails protruding sideways from the top board. The nose is also very narrow which helps with toe plugging and allows it to plug in places where I couldn't score with other guns. Nails can be hard to find unless you live in the West. In some areas, full round head nails are required by law. Home Depot sells multiple sizes. Tool Crib has a full range of round head nails. If you're a contractor and use a lot of nails, your local lumber yard might consider adding to them if needed. In researching the nailers I did before purchasing, I found that there were more nail types available in this set than any other. Also, a pistol of this power needs a full head. This will help hold the wood together instead of banging through it like clipped nails do. I had a few problems caused by the head of the first nail in the second nail bar slipping under the head of the last nail in the first bar. This mostly happens when two sticks are loaded and there are still many third sticks in the store. If I were to buy another nail gun, it would most likely be this one.
