Well I tried it. I already knew that buying pear shape one piece is a risky business (literally). But I like the look of overalls and I have short sleeves (another brand) that feel loose enough at the bottom and tight enough at the top to look good on me These: Not very, I'm 5ft 6", 172lbs, wide hips and a round butt , but a chest of 36 A. I usually wear plus size bottoms (size 12-14) and plus size tops, I bought this plus size hoping it wouldn't be too tight for my hips (things I buy from Revain often).Plus size was a little tight on my hips but quite baggy at the top and the straps seem to be wide apart - I worry about them falling off as there isn't enough to fill in. I bought these mainly u m wearing them to the beach but figured if it looks relatively cute i might wear it somewhere else. conscious about baggy top. All the delighted customers' pictures are girls with no hips / straight up and down, many of them have larger bust, so the bottom half looks nice and flowy, and the top fits perfectly. For me it's the other way around. I'm going to wear it to wear to the beach as planned, but it doesn't flatter me, and if you have a true pear/triangle shape, it probably won't flatter you either.
