I bought these to convert some double type C cables to type A cables if needed. If it's weird that we used to need an adapter to convert to Type C, now we need an adapter to convert from it lol. It's time to standardize Type C! πJSAUX makes high quality stuff, the materials are great and they are very well made. This little guy looks like blue anodized aluminum, all metal. I haven't been able to test the transfer speed when using it as a data cable, but for the price I'd be shocked if it transferred faster than the usual USB 3.0 speed of 5Gb/s. In terms of charging, I plugged in my Pixel 2 XL and Anker 2.4a wall USB stick and while it didn't charge fast, it wasn't a super slow 1a charge either. I wouldn't be shocked if it charges quickly from a 5V 3A adapter or from a 3 USB fast charge outlet. Make sure you check first that the higher 'amps and volts' charging currently used for fast charging can burn cables/adapters (or even damage phones) if too much current is pumped through them. It will definitely be suitable for normal speed charging. I bought mine to try and Franken outfitted my Nintendo 3ds with a "single cable" charging solution by connecting a Type-C cable to one of these Type-A adapters, and then to an AA USB adapter, and finally connected to a USB 3ds charger. It didn't work, but the color surprised me πIf you need an adapter, it should work great. I also have some JSAUX cables, they all work very well and look nice.
