Maybe the top rated reviewer of this belt is just too strong. I hollowed out my belt for 10 minutes. The hole won't break. As another reviewer pointed out, this is not real leather (see image) so the tool is fighting against something else. Unfortunately, this belt does not fit. I had to shorten mine about 2 inches, but the strap is completely unusable because I can't punch a hole to reattach the strap to the buckle. See photo of my attempt to punch a hole. Just made a small dent. Do not buy this if it is not your exact size. I'll have to buy a real leather hole punch to put it back together.
