I bought this slider with rather low expectations, thinking it would be a worthy addition to my kit. I have purchased a number of Neewer products in the past and overall have been very happy with them. However, I was very pleased with the quality and results of this slider. Since it's fully mechanical, you don't have to worry about batteries, but you'll need to take some time to learn the best parts and learn how to take good pictures with it. Personally, I prefer a fully mechanical one so I can go outside and not worry about carrying more batteries, but if you're not a fan of manual camera work, this product probably isn't for you. Quality is generally good, but having bought the longest model available I have seen how it can bend or warp if you are not careful in storing or transporting it. Overall I am satisfied and use it whenever possible!
