I've been using these for a couple of weeks and this is where I am with them. As for the brightness of the light, it's amazing. The horn works as it should. Sounds like a doorbell in an old office building. The remote control functionality is great and this is how this light should be controlled even though you can use it without the remote. When used without a remote I have issues with this otherwise great light. The power button isn't really a button, more like a soft button on older Android phones. It doesn't actually "click", you just touch it and it turns on and you can toggle between the lighting options. What happens when you want to turn it off by holding your finger on the button, it cycles through the options from time to time before you turn it off. This means that when you turn it back on, the settings will be different than when you turned it off. Not a big deal, but definitely annoying considering it might just be a button under the waterproof case. The only other issue is the charging port on the flashlight. The lid is difficult to open because it is almost directly behind the colored plastic. I recommend this light and using the remote control with it.
