I have an autistic son (just 5 years old) who moves around. We would like him to be able to run free on his own, but we would like to point out the dangers he exposes himself to when doing so. We're always on high alert when he decides to run outside. That being said, I feel a lot better knowing he's walking alone but at the same time not going too far. Very durable and I like how the keyhole is hidden. We were about to travel and I've thought about it so much, but now I'm comfortable. So many people condemn parents who use harnesses (leashes) assuming they treat their kids like pets, but that's more of a good trustworthy friendship system. Also, my child is runaway and has a communication deficit, so this is a must. :) (and you're less afraid of someone grabbing your kid if they're walking in front of you)
