Amazing sound quality at an amazingly low price

, I was looking for headphones with a microphone. That's when I came across the Performance PRO1605. I was surprised to see some small headphones advertised as Hi-Res Audio. Not to mention the price shocked me. So I decided to take a chance with Philips as I already own their great SHP9500 headphones. DESIGN: The PRO6105 earbuds have a beautiful and shiny metal design on the outside of the earbuds. Inside is a dark blue plastic surface with the letters L and R on their respective sides. It is located under the tips of the ears. In addition, the PRO6105 comes with three (S, M, L) interchangeable ear tips. Standard large ear pads on headphones. The earbuds fit right in my ears. Don't worry about them slipping out. The cable is the same as any other headphone cable. However, there is a microphone on the left side of the headphones. On the right side there is a rubber clip that neatly stows the cables. SOUND. The PRO6105 uses 8.6mm neodymium drivers, which is above average for most headphones. The frequency response is 7-40,000 Hz, which is Hi-Res Audio. SHP9500 - no, since they have a frequency of 12-35 thousand Hz. Sensitivity is 109dB compared to 101dB for the SHP9500. Of course, you can't compare headphones to headphones, but in the case of the PRO6105 versus the SHP9500, it's pretty impressive. Impedance 16 ohms. The maximum input power is only 20mW. For some headphones, they have an excellent, crystal clear and clear sound. Highs and mids are excellent. Low ones are good too. Without distortion. The bass is deep, clean, clear, but not overdriven. Of course, most Hi-Res audio isn't bass-heavy. At the same time, if you are a bass player, these headphones are not for you. Beats by Dre may be, but on top of that these headphones have excellent noise cancellation. I turned on the music when the TV was on and I could only hear the music. The music sounds great. Of course, these headphones are primarily made for that. The words sound crystal clear. Details of background noises, i.e. instruments, drums, etc. of music, can be heard with crystal clarity. HF is comfortable. Like I said, good bass. Out of curiosity I tested some games. I was playing an old saved Hitman 2 video on PSN. There was a part where there is a strong explosion. The explosion was sharp, loud and startlingly clear, along with the sound of debris hitting the ground. The sounds of the environment also sounded clearly. I heard birds chirping, NPCs on the map talking, footsteps, etc. I was impressed. However, if you choose to play with them on PS4, the controller can easily control these headphones. I actually had the fader volume set to maximum, but had to set it to the seventh level. The sound was quiet, roomy enough without feeling like my eardrums were about to burst. MIC: I ran a test on PSN to adjust the microphone settings. I could hear my voice, crystal clear. Also, on personal calls, I could hear their voice crystal clear and they could hear mine. In addition, these headphones have an echo cancellation function. In addition, the music can be paused at the touch of a button during private conversations in order to take phone calls. VERDICT: Considering it's Hi-Res, along with the accessories that come with it, they STEAL for only twenty bucks. Not to mention they rival some of the best headphones out there. Great for music and surprisingly good for gaming.
