The C920 has a good reputation, so I decided to go for the shuttered version. I thought that it differs only in the curtain. In fact, the DeviceID is different, there are no special drivers. But the worst thing is that the "native" zoom does not work, you cannot "run into" the object being shot, although this function is available in the settings. For a camera with such a wide field of view, this is simply a must. The Internet could not help, the drivers for the C920 are not suitable, and the vaunted G Capture (or whatever it is) does not see the camera in the sources at all (and it also cannot work with Aero on Win7x64, this is in 2022, ha ha)! Other programs with the camera work fine, by the way. Well, a bonus - OBS, with some shamanism with the settings, can change the camera zoom through the native settings utility, although it's crooked (you need to change the camera resolution in the OBS source and open the camera settings, it will somehow start working). Apparently the problem is still more software. The local Logitech kekspert, when voicing "terrible" technical details (see questions about the product), as expected heroically calmed down, there are no drivers, native software is screwed up - this is a fiasco, guys. I'll try to write to TP Logs, maybe they will answer something. At the moment, 3 stars purely for the basic features minus the high price. This kind of nonsense at this price is not worth it anymore. If you just need to stick it in and make it work and with good quality, it will do.
