I'm new to electronics projects so consider me a newbie. The kit is as described in the sales documents, you need your own tools (triving and cross) for the project. The case material is durable, the only difference between them and original nintendos is that the replacement parts are a bit shinier/smoother. I bought the clear purple ones and they are visually stunning. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews about closing blocks properly, I haven't come across this but did notice that the right joystick Y and + button are a bit lower than the others, but that might be my fault anyway, will I have to tinker to find out. The Dpad device works and feels great and is an upgrade for undocked gameplay. The only downside to this product is that the letter/directional markings on the buttons come off too easily. After a week of play, the white lines on the dpad are almost completely gone, the colored buttons haven't been used, but I assume it's the same type of printing. Second, it's not really related to the product, but it came with a pack of screws. I have no idea what they are for but if they offered extra Phillips and Phillips head screws considering how easy it is to take apart the originals that could do things. much better. Don't be afraid to make this exchange, there are tons of videos on YouTube (I used IGN) that show and explain things in easy to understand detail. Just take your time and be careful when removing these small components, which can break or become damaged if too much force is used.
