I am very disappointed with these lights. But let me just say if you only use them for a few hours for a single event and have fresh batteries they will be great which is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. The first set I got the light was so dark you could barely see it. . I was crazy but figured I'd use them anyway. I've used them for seasonal decor and they burned out in just a few days. At first I thought the light was very dim, but when I turned on the other TV, it was so bright it hurt my eyes to look at it. I've attached a picture of both the dark and light sets when first used. So we replaced the battery in the first set and it just glowed brightly. We were satisfied and thought the problem was solved. Unfortunately, these things only ate into the batteries and both failed again within a few days. Out of the 4 strands, only one was light on the first use. I wouldn't buy it again, even for a short time, because spending so little time on it and using so many batteries is a waste of time.
