They can store things and end up looking pretty solid so they can get the job done. However, it's a bit difficult to get excited about them. When opened they had a very strong and unpleasant odor - glue? Plastic? oil something or something else? - I'm not sure, but the smell hasn't entirely gone away, although it has become much weaker. My wife is a bit reluctant to store fibres/textiles in it for fear that it will absorb the smell. They also appear a little "rough" - the stitching doesn't seem even and neat, everything seems a bit cheap and sloppy. Even if they are not real "charms", they can be a good choice if you like the price, which as I write is very low.
