Our little girl weighs just under 10 pounds and fits a size XS (13-16 inches) perfectly! The adjustable chest strap is great, but since the neck piece is a one-size-fits-all, we were a bit concerned. If you have a big head puppy, increase the size accordingly as there is no room to stretch the neckline. And if your dog is smaller, it can easily slip out. Obviously the pattern is charming and the harness looks well constructed even though the chest strap clip is plastic. It got dirty a few times and washed up well as the outer material is very similar to a bathing suit.
