Beautiful, well built and good value.

Very good product! I have a Surface Pro in a leather case and case and recently saw a nice HP built into a leather tote. I love leather device cases for one reason: they blend into my car seats. This makes me less worried about someone noticing them and breaking into them to steal them when I rush to the store. Personally, I also find that they just make the device more comfortable to hold and give it a bit of a classic feel. After deciding not to give up my Surface Pro (provided by my employer) in favor of a leather strap from HP and seeing the possibility of putting my MacBook in a leather case, I naturally started looking for something like this. My search took me to several places, but I chose this one. Why? Price, product images, color and reviews. Personally, I'm disappointed, no! Pros: Price! That is probably the main reason for my purchase. Of course I'd prefer real genuine leather, but it's decent and at a very fair price. Quality. The product photos looked decent. As for the price, I thought about what I usually think about this type of purchase; For the price I will replace it if it doesn't fit. I'm not disappointed. The stitching has a machine feel, but the materials feel premium and seem to stand the test of time. The thread does not tear out like with cheaper threads. Actually, I'm a professional computer engineer. It's important on this topic. If you've ever seen a postpartum bed and postpartum bed, you'll know why! You work with babies. Have you seen a scrub?! Not gentle! (Don't hit the nurses! My wife is one of them. Most know what they're doing and do an impossible job for most of us!) I'm just saying they don't hurt babies, but they don't treat them like that neither does a new parent. as if they were made of porcelain and could break. I have them, and by the way, they don't break. Now imagine how I deal with my computers! I can break them, but I have the means and the ability to fix them if I do. I come home and usually throw my computer bag on the bed. If I work nights, which I often do, I probably toss my computer (loosely out of my bag) on my bed as I walk past to go to my main bathroom at least once. The case holds! Feeling. I want to distinguish it from quality. The case seems to be well made, yes, but it also feels very good. Not only does it hold up well, it's out of the way, it adds size to my MacBook, it has features like a pen slot that's out of the way but is comfortable, and the leather (though synthetic) actually looks nice and feels good. I wasn't sure what the feel or quality would be like, but to be honest I'm not disappointed at all. Aesthetics. No unusual color variation, discoloration, or damage to the faux leather outer shell. I've encountered this problem with real grain leather before, but I suspect some of these problems can be solved simply by using a synthetic product. Either way, it's an aesthetically pleasing addition to your device. I wasn't looking for this as a protective case. I was interested in it almost exclusively for aesthetic reasons. However, it seems to me that it definitely increases the durability of my device. I wouldn't want to drop it from any height but I don't know how anything can scratch the top or bottom right now and I'd actually be better off dropping it than without it! Cons: PU leather cast off I was a little confused at first, but that alone is the only reason I'm listing this as a con. The PU leather actually looks good, appears to be a high quality faux leather and the overall build quality makes me feel a lot more confident in the choice of materials. At this price you won't find one that doesn't use faux leather and if they say they don't I would be skeptical! So this is my only real con. They actually show it added to your MacBook in their photos, so that wasn't a surprise. To be honest, I didn't think I'd endorse it until I got it, and in fact, I was less than excited about how to outfit this accessory when I did. My 2019 13" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar had to tilt the screen back to its limit. I was then able to pull the case off the edge of the screen and tilt the screen back to a vertical position. I felt like I was about to damaging my computer. Well, if you read above, I said that I usually insult computers. I'm a computer engineer (but I usually work on Windows - it's my personal device that I bought for hobbyist programming) and I can usually fix any damage I've caused but I have a feeling I'm about to break the screen. It doesn't ruin the screen (one of the reasons I didn't deduct points) but I don't like it!after I've seen this happen and found that the "click" style doesn't work in this case, I don't have a better suggestion. As much as I don't like how the al Less happened, I think this is probably the best way (another reason I didn't score) for this task. showed me no reason why I couldn't. * I am NOT a paid reviewer. I have not received any compensation for this review. I have not and will not receive any money, products, discounts or other rewards for my reviews. I bought this product with my own money for personal use. I'm just a consumer. I'm the "guy" who writes the company a letter when I'm upset, but I also write a letter when they do something great. I usually review products that I think are either very good or very bad. I think that's very good!
