My son and I recently switched beds. He could use my king, but I wanted something smaller for myself. As winter approaches, a blanket comes in handy to decorate the bedroom! This is a beautiful blanket. It's feminine but not childish. It's very light when it's on and has been comfortably warm so far. This blanket was not an expensive item, so its aesthetic value is great. Like a quilt, it is not quilted enough to hold the batting in place through multiple washes. I think the outer and pillowcases are washed well, but I'm afraid that the batting will shift and crumple. I see a year or two of use, then it's time for a new blanket. Maybe a different design or color :-)
