This is a good quality product and it does the job but I was expecting to see if the failed heat exchanger pot was much better than that normal. The difference is minimal. I experimented by bringing a liter of water to a boil with the lid closed and using a windbreak, allowing the burner to warm up for a minute before beginning the test. The outside temperature was 65F at 2000 feet. It took 7.5 minutes to fully boil a 2.3 liter "Tech" rated pot and 8 minutes for a regular pot, so the price difference with the Primus LiTech pot set isn't worth it. However, there are other differences: the holder is of higher quality, while the Tech Pot has an additional inner coating.
